Indulge in an Epicurean Escape in the Heart of New Hampshire

(Holderness, NH) – Whether it’s vegan, local cuisine, craft beer recipes or simply comfort food you’re looking for, the Fork in the Road Cooking School at the Manor on Golden Pond has it all. This winter, Executive Chef Peter Sheedy invites everyone into his award-winning kitchen to experience a unique and rewarding vacation filled with culinary excellence.

Temptation’s Fruit will kick off this winter’s cooking classes in November, followed by Soup Strategies, Breakfast in Bed, How to Boil Water and Cooking with Craft Beer. Each course provides hands-on cooking experience and the ability to “wow” your next house guests with the culinary secrets and professional training you’ll receive. If the scheduled monthly classes don’t work for you, there is always the option to create your own private cooking school weekend with the menu of your choice.

“It’s always a pleasure to share my passion for cooking and open up our kitchen to guests,” says Sheedy. “We offer unique recipes with local ingredients, and there’s something for everyone. This is a great way to celebrate an anniversary, family vacation or just pamper yourself when winter seems like it’ll never end”.

This epicurean escape for two includes:

  • Two nights accommodation
  • Cooking classes each morning
  • Recipe book and culinary gift
  • Candlelit gourmet dinner each evening
  • Full gourmet breakfasts each morning
  • Afternoon tea each day

Located in central New Hampshire, the Manor on Golden Pond provides luxury hotel services with the charm of a country bed & breakfast. At the Manor, visitors can enjoy skiing & snowboarding, downhill skiing, snowshoeing, sleigh rides and much more. In 2004, the Manor was selected as New Hampshire’s first member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World, a prestigious luxury organization representing some of the world’s finest “five-star” boutique resorts with fewer than 100 rooms. The Manor has also received the “Award of Excellence” from Wine Spectator along with the Four-Diamond Award from AAA.
