Cambria Suites, Denver — Color Me Surprised

I made a really great discovery just outside of Denver, Colorado. I stayed in a hotel in Aurora called Cambria Suites. I had no idea what to expect. But I sure liked it there. The staff was amazingly friendly and called us by name right from the get go. The place has a real modern look. I had heard that they were interested in appealing to the twenty or thirty something business set and I believe they’re off on exactly the right foot. The whole place has wifi. I loved the great looking rooms with their cool furniture and hip décor. And the bed, pillows, and linens could not have more comfier. We had a suite with one open design bedroom and one separate bedroom.

Perfect for sharing with a colleague or when you have a kid in tow as I did. There’s a gym, a bar, a Wolfgang Puck coffee kiosk, and a breakfast buffet that includes made-to-order eggs and pomegranate juice. The airport is like ten minutes away and they shuttle will get you there and back. We rented a car because we were heading into Denver. I was nervous we would be too far out from the city. But it turned out to be perfect. In 15 – 20 minutes we could get to the zoo, the aquarium, the shops, you name it. We’ll definitely be back!
