More than Rocks and Rockets in Denver

The Denver Museum of Nature and Science is huge and truly needs a full day to explore in its entirety. We only had a few hours. So we carefully chose what we would see. Expedition Health was really interesting. I got to see what I would look like at age 70 (Not good.) and go on a virtual hike. We were able to check all of our vital signs and learn more than I ever wanted to know about bodily functions. My ten-year-old was thrilled. We also checked out the exhibit of minerals and gems, as well as the dinosaurs and the space odyssey. Very cool. We rounded out the day with an IMAX film – Wild Ocean. I just love IMAX movies and this one was truly magnificent with its underwater photography and telling plot about our role in saving the oceans we have come to steward.
