Swimming the Denver Aquarium

The Denver Aquarium is not enormous. We did it in about an hour and a half. But it’s got some really cool features. You can actually dive with the sharks or snorkel with the fish in massive tanks that are the very same one aquarium guests come to view. So, when people are in them, the show is even better! They have three tigers who love to swim.
Or who at least used to love to swim. The aquarium had to lower the tropical temperature to suit visitors and now the tigers find it a bit too chilly to take a dip. They’re hoping to train one to change his mind though. And they have a really neat open, walk-up tank where you can “pet” and feed the sting-rays. They are so soft and friendly. My ten-year-old and my girlfriend both got a real kick out of it!
