Mary Anne, how nice to see that you find the same level of fascinating detail in places not far from home as you do when they're far-off and exotic! Sounds as if Agrirama has captured and preserved the essence of what made up the South in the years between the two wars: the Civil War and and WW1. What a treasure!

I love Traverse City! I used to attend a camp in Interlochen growing up and always made a stop in Traverse City on the way. It really is a neat quaint little Midwestern town :)

Thanks Pete,

We are home. This article you found is in our archives, like the ones other web site maintain -- like the bunch over at Yahoo. The issue is has more to do with how Googgle ranks articles and information than keeping an archive.

You have just wasted my time by not up dating this site. I get all the way through it to find it is from '09. This will probably be unread because nobody is home, but the lights are on. I would not join ITKT for anything you bunch of yahoos.

Hi Mary Anne, Beautifully written. I enjoy getting your pieces. Hopefully, I will be getting some tax issues resolved so I can concentrate on something positive soon. Bonnie

The Four Seasons Maui is my choice for guests looking for luxury accommodations on Maui. Sitting one of the best beaches of the island, the resort exudes Hawaiian elegance and tranquility. The new adults-only pool overlooking the Pacific only adds to the appeal. Perfect for my honeymoon guests.
